hey all, I'm thinking about trying to start a pipe club in my local area already have several possible locations figured out. What I really need is some help with further logistics on how exactly to get it started.

If any one have any knowledge that could help me I would love to hear from you.

Mike, there's really nothing to creating a pipe club. All you need is a location and some people who like to smoke pipes to get together at the same time and place. Give yourself a name and you have a pipe club. If you would like a snapshot of how other clubs do it, the United Pipe Clubs of America (UPCA) recently did a census of pipe clubs. Go www.unitedpipeclubs.org and check out the first item under "News from UPCA." Also if you go to the "Resources" menu, you will find an article by Steve Fallon, president of the Waco Pipe Club, called "Starting Your Own Pipe Club."
Good luck with your club. After you have successfully been together for awhile, consider joining UPCA.
