Hello gentlemen :)

This is an olivekob from the deluxe series.

The shank is fitted exactly and glued to the bowl..a stainless ring is used and some acrylic (horn imitation)

I agree on the blasted olive.

I find Olive wood to have gorgeous grain, but I've yet to smoke one.
Same with strawberry.. I love the look but haven't had the chance to try one yet.

I have tons of that woods:)

Olive has a very special taste ,strawberry

has a sweet smell at the beginning it smokes like briar I believe.

And its much lighter than briar

What a beautiful pipe, nice work!
I must find some olive and strawberry wood one of these days. I am just getting started in this 'building' thing. Still at the studying stage.
