As some of you may know the Inter-Tabac in Dortmund, Germany, is the biggest trade fair of the world for tobacco products and smoking accessories.
It is just for retailers but with some luck I managed to secure a ticket! A day never to forget Here is an impression: Inter-Tabac 2013 impression

What a wonderful article! Thanks for posting!

I am really interested in those new Samuel Gawith Four Seasons blends, particularly the Irish Spring (a Va/Per?) and the Winter Time Flake (Sweet Virginias and lakatia?) Yum.

WOW! That is a pipe show and a half. I would love to go to something like that. The Dunhill nose warmer was very nice.

That's a whole different world of pipes and pipe smoking (that part of the overall show) than most of us ever see. It's a pretty big
business, and they balance between the aesthetics and the pure business model, sort of teeter back and forth to keep the
art and tradition, but turn a substantial profit too. It sounds like a fascinating opportunity. All kinds of scoops on pipe
smoking in the bars and coffee shops.

Aha, I heard that least year deals with a total value of 118 million euros were closed on the fair

This is great. I suppose if there is a Pipe Heaven, then you experienced it. Thank you so much for sharing this.
