Can you imagine Alfred Dunhill granting a license to a German tobacco manufacturer in 1938?
Arno has outdid himself this time.
A happenstance chance of finding an old Dunhill tin on ebay.de led Arno down a twisty path trying to find answers to why it appeared that the tin he had bought was made in Germany, how could that be? Vintage Dunhill tobacco made in Germany? Surely it was some kind of mistake or something...
...well, Arno dove into a rabbit-hole and discovered some most interesting details.
He wove a masterful narrative that is a great read, and I urge you to take your eyeballs there and read it.
