I thought this might cause some interest amongst the WDC enthusiasts on the forum. I have owned this pipe for 25 years and it was a leaving gift in 1894 to a 'James Flind' and has been lovingly looked after over the years. It is not really my style but I have hung on to it for sentimental reasons as I found it in an antique market in Colliers Wood in South London when I was living with my first girlfriend Boonratana in the early 1990s.

She was Thai, well to be fair her family were from Thailand but she was born in the UK. She had a very polished English accent and looked like an asian version of Velma Dinkley right down to the dress sense but she had very long hair, about 4 foot 7 " and I lived with her for about 5 years. I think thats start off my yellow fever. Really pretty girl and an absolute riot to be around.

I'm jealous.... of the pipe and, from your description, Boonratana. :)
