I think small amounts of chocolate tobacco can compliment an English, but think cherry would clash too much with the latakia. As for a quality cherry, Top Black Cherry is a good one.

I recently tried the Red Sky, courtesy of a very generous forum member, and I liked it.
I like Latakia blends, but for me they a missing just a tad of sweetness...
So, I will try and see if I like it. And if I do, I hope I will not be expelled from here)))

Try a different approach. Drink something cherry based as you puff. I just drank some orange monster while puffing frog morton cellar and found it pleasant.
