Is it bad to scrub the pipe chamber with an alcohol soaked pipe cleaner? Or does it help to clean it? I used to do it with my cobs and I found it left the next smoke tasting fresh and smooth. I recently bought some higher end briars, and realized that no one else seemed to clean their briars that way, but I find my briars tasting funny and they're only a few bowls in. I'd like to try giving the chamber a good scrub down with ever clear but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't damage the pipe.
