The band is stamped "Sterling".

My Dad said my Grandpa used to bring this pipe out on holidays and special occasions to make all of the kids laugh. Pretty cool find, will definitely be a display piece even though it cleaned up very easily.

That one looks turn of the century old to me, with that amber stem. Are there any hallmarks on the band?

I love the carving. I definitely would love whipping that out in a crowd and taking some puffs.
Reminds me of the song "Night Moves" by Bob Seger....firm and high indeed.
