A sizable breakthrough in pipe smoking relations?

For this individual anyway.
In my pursuit for a bacci that would leave a more palatable room note for the wife an oracle wrote to me.

Gigger48, both publicly and privately, suggested I cut the crap and simply ask Jen if she'd be willing to try a pipe.

Well, I did, and she did.
Following strict forum "No Pictures: It Didn't Happen" protocol I journaled her first occasions.

Halfway through her fourth bowl she was hooked.

Jen is now smoking two to three bowls a week and looks forward to sampling other blends.

As I type this Tastemaster and Carter Hall are her go-tos.

Also, and more importantly, more times than not she's the one to implore, "Do you want to smoke a pipe tonight?"

I have to say that for a "newbie" your wife looks pretty competent and comfortable with a pipe. good for the both you. Now you need to get into a pipe club. Having a woman or two in a club generally keeps things very civil.

Funny you mention papipe, we've slated a trip to Smokey Joe's Cigar Lounge where she'll try her hand at cigar smoking. While Jen's huffing and puffing I'll see about finding a nice group of herfers (not to be confused with heifer) that wouldn't mind us joining.

No, she's never smoked cigs or cigars.

Learning one doesn't inhale pipe/cigar smoke piqued her interest.
