Just put a bowl of the Latakia Flake through this beauty and it smokes like a dream. I don't think I'm experienced enough to comment on the debate as to whether or not it flavors the smoke but it tasted great.
So what are you guys smoking out there?
Would love for this to be a rolling thread for people to post current pictures of their pipes/what their smoking and maybe even where they're smoking. I would also be curious to hear a brief "about me" too. I'll follow up with some coloration updates for my meerschaums tomorrow!

There's an 18 page thread about this very topic! Its always good to live vicariously through others pipe and tobacco purchases.
Welcome to the forum! Every month there is a new "What are you smoking?" Thread. Next months might be changed a little to reflect the passing of a giant on these forums, whose pipe collection was incredible, as was his character.

Welcome to the forums, lukas! Keep the ideas coming! The old, well established "What Are You Smoking?" thread may undergo a name change as Mike mentioned; so look for something like "Keepin' It Smokey", or "Smokin' With Banjo", or some such thing. (And yes, smokey, in the sense we use it, is misspelled, but that's how Banjo spelled it.)
btw, Very nice pipe! Thanks for posting the pix. Pipe porn is much appreciated, as are your suggestions. I'm looking forward to seeing your meerschaums. :puffy:

Thanks everyone for the warm reception. This site has been a great resource for my never-ending hunt for "the next pipe".
Mike - I appreciate the education, will be on the look out for these threads.
Cortez - I'm not fancy with my photography just use my phone but I do enjoy it. Very new to Meers, here is a picture of my first one: an IMP "Monaco" Poker. I've been smoking it heavy for about 10 days now, ready to let it sit (pun intended) for a while and see how the coloration continues to develop.
