I was very interested in the pipe shown to PM Wilson at about 50 seconds. I believe I have seen that pipe in Sherborne Castle which was Walter Raleigh's home.
I can't find any info on the Pipe Exhibition in the link, I would have loved to go as I was a Pipe Smoker at the time of Harold Wilson, I remember that he refused to put a rise in tax on Pipe Tobacco because it would mostly effect our pensioners who he said had fought for our freedom, this is why Pipe Tobacco in the UK is taxed less than Cigarette Tobacco.
Very cool. Thanks for the post. Our President Gerald Ford smoked a pipe. I read somewhere that Edgeworth was his blend of choice.
