A Horror Story Played Out In My Mind

I got up this morning and packed my Stanwell Vario with some Blue Note and went out to the shed. It was a beautiful morning. As I was wondering what to get into today I looked over and saw the Snapper. I'll cut the grass, I thought. I made a few rounds on the mower puffing my pipe and realized, what if I dropped my pipe? I could see the pieces all cut up and on the lawn. I quickly went in the house and grabbed a cob. I couldn't bare the thought of breaking another pipe after dropping my Stanwell 2010 POTY a few weeks ago.

If I tried cutting the grass and smoking a pipe at the same time I'd end up cutting my toes off.

Yep, that's what a cob is for. Great smokers, but no huge lose if it gets trashed.

I've never been able to smoke a pipe while I mowed.I do a little better with a cigar no big deal if I drop it..

Corncobs were made for yardwork, ball games, pool side, working on the car, etc. Never busted a corncob doing those things, but lost a briar or two before I learned that lesson.
