Cortez, I am not sure that I can answer your question intelligently. I have smoked it all of once, and it is the first pipe I have had in 25 years that wasn’t an estate pipe. So far, however, I am quite pleased!
I find the stem comfortable, but I am not a clencher. So I don’t mind acrylics.

I thought she smoked great. The color is more of a golden finish than the picture shows. That color and the grain just caught my attention and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t think of a pipe in my collection that I like better.
I like that shape as well. That rim looks interesting. Do you need to take any precautions with a rim like that, or just the old saliva wipe?
Mike, that rim is called a plateau. It is just unfinished briar. Spit works just fine but with all the nooks and crannies it takes more time.
I keep meaning to get one of those Cayugas and then I always forget until someone mentions them. Lovely pipe! Enjoy the heck out of it :clap:
