Here are a few pics of a freehand I finished today.

Height in front of the button: 0.165"

Length:5.80"

Bowl height:2.25"

Bowl diameter: 0.75"

Chamber depth: 1.75"

Outside Diameter: 1.65"

Stem material: Vulcanite - delrin tenon

Finish: smooth with partial plateaux/smooth top

Weight: 82.5 grams

Very Nice work. I'm no pro but offer up something I've learned. A wine cork stuck in the bowl when staining prevents bleeding into the bowl. My 2 cents for what it's worth. It is a looker. Enjoy!

Mighty fine! You've come a long way in a short time, Chris. I know that you've used less than optimal pipe making tooling as you've continued to produce what appear to be will drilled and nicely formed pipes.

That you are color blind adds to the hurdles you've had to overcome.

I think you've focused on the important aspects of the internals first, and that you've developed more and more of an understanding of the shaping process.

I see a small but growing fan club in your future!

Here's a guy who didn't even smoke 2 yrs ago! Kudos!

A handsome take on a freehand for sure. I like the restrained shaping and the touch of plateau at the brim.
