Last night I noticed the beast poking around the garden. Apparently when the gardeners cleared the garden, they uncovered a rabbits den. The dog was sniffing these baby bunnies and I couldn't tell if the momma was coming back. I told my wife about it.

She said "We have to save the bunnies!"

I thought "Man, I wish I had a pet falcon....yeah, that would be cool about now."

You should shoot Jayhp a PM.
Seeing that he is a Master Falconer, maybe he would let you borrow a hawk for a few days ??

When I was a bit younger I used to volunteer at the local zoo in the birds of prey exhibit! I always thought I would become a falconer!

Mason jars and bale top jars, mason jars and bale top jars.... that is all!

    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 c. tomato juice

Cut rabbit into generous serving pieces. Flatten by pounding meat gently.

In a bowl, mix bread crumbs and parmesan cheese together.

In another bowl, beat a egg with salt and pepper.

Roll pieces of meat in crumbs, then in the beaten egg and then again in crumb mixture.

Fry in butter over med. heat for 30 mins.

Add tomato juice and cook for 1 hr. over very low heat

I think you can only become a falconer after you've undergone and apprenticeship to get the proper licensing and permits to be one.
that being said.. people buy rabbits at Tractor supply and they sell out every time.
so... go with the prior post. catch the lil morsels and either sell 'em for more pipe tobacco or , my preference, BBQ the little buggers.

    I love rabbit.
    Note:
The USMC began serving fried rabbit on Easter Sunday 1980. I was there.
