Not exactly 'making' a pipe, but modifying one. I took one of my little 'reject' cobs from MM and added an acrylic stem from ebay. The stem still has to be fitted to the shank diameter, but it is smokable now.

So far the only tools required were a diamond fingernail file and a diamond reamer. Maybe the dremel will form the bit diameter. Or chuck the tenon in a drill and use a file...
