I have a sealed 50 Gram tin of C.A.O. Old Ironsides up for trade. This is a blend that is no longer produced. I like Va and VaPers. Let's see some offers!!

Pretty close but to be honest I am looking for a little more than a pouch. As I stated this was a very popular tobacco that is no longer produced. I would like something like Triple Play, Jack knife plug, Beacon ect ect. If I were to sell this I would ask $20.00+

I have been told it was no longer produced, if I am wrong I'm sorry. I do know none of the etailers have it.

P&C is showing 1 lb bags in stock, but no one else seems to have any.
Old Ironsides was one of my favorites at one time, but I traded what I had left to Bubba awhile back. Just sort of lost my taste for it, but it is a fine blend !

Maybe it's just the tinned that is no linger avaiable? Regardless I will swap tin for tin.

Just to clear things up a bit; Old Ironsides was not being distributed in the US for a little while after STG bought out CAO International. Dan Tobacco used to make this blend for, and it was distributed by, CAO International. Once STG bought CAO, CAO stopped offering the old blends.

In June of 2010, Dan Tobacco started producing those blends again for themselves.

You can read more about it in my news release that I wrote when this happened:

Dan Tobacco Re-Introduces Old CAO Blends

They are still extremely popular blends that are in high demand which is why they are sometimes hard to get.

I just wanted to give an FYI about the confusion that seems to be going on with the blend.

    Thanks Bob.
Well this is the old stuff from C.A.O.
I know this tin is at least four or five years old.

It is still worth being traded as it already has a bit of age on it. That is of course if you want to trade it instead of smoke it. Don't let the fact that they still make it, make you think that there is no trade value. Everything has trade value to the right person and I would say that it is worth a tin of the blends that you listed.

Either way, whoever smokes it should be pretty happy. The lat is stout, the tin doesnt lie when it say Latakia lovers dream .
