    Hi All,

I hit 2k posts and realized I didn't do an "I'm Back" post so I thought I would do that with an apology.

You folks are always so awesome and I apologize for not giving more of a heads up that I was taking leave from the site. I also apologize for slinking in and posting without an update on my life.

I *finally* retired out of the Army at the end of January this year. I worked for an Auction and Estate Sale company while doing family stuff and getting moved down from Tacoma to Vancouver (WA). I **Finally** got my house in Tacoma sold in September after it had eaten up ALL my savings for renovations and mortgage payments. I am now enrolled full time at WSU Vancouver on my GI Bill and am applying to the Masters in Teaching program that will start next summer. My wife is still teaching and loving it. My son is doing excellently in school, doing track, and playing trombone. His mother still lives overseas and only rides in on her broom once a year. (whew) My life has been crazy busy, but I am making time to get back on here and reconnect.

I am trying to put away some more tobacco before it is all gone. =)

Hope you all have been well!

Welcome back. Sounds like everything is going well.

That E-5 BAH is a nice supplement while going to school (assuming you converted it to Post 9-11).

You may be too late! Rumor has it that Peck just cornered the market, and is now contemplating changing his last name to Duke.

Congratulations on your retirement, and thank-you for your service, Sir! Your return to these precincts is welcome news.
