I just got my sample of 1776 Old Dominion today. I tested it out in my Dr. Grabow Grand Duke pipe. I absolutely love this stuff! It definitely drifted me off to some other dreamy place. I almost fell asleep with my pipe in my mouth.

It's been awhile since I popped any Sterling tobacco open.
I've never had the Old Dominion but 1776 Tavern, American Patriot and Balkan Sterling are all tasty.
Thanks for the reminder ... going to dust off some of the Balkan now! :puffy:

Thanks! I really wasn't expecting that kind of reaction after smoking it. Thankfully, I was outside sitting on the porch. It will probably become a night time smoke for me.

The pipe has a built in safety alarm. I always awake immediately when my pipe falls in my lap and the embers burn holes in my pants. :twisted: :wink:

The date on my jar said 9-2-14 ... I guess it HAD been a while! :)
It was just like I remembered though and I'm happy I dusted it off.
