Guess what pipe had its 1000th smoke ream and tuneup, my MM Twain with what I call the Creamsicle Swirl Forever Stem.

This one's been smoked daily for nearly two years. Love my Twain! The stem was once orange.

I've kept count on purpose since my 13 y/o Diplomat has gotten to the point it needs rest between smokes now and after over 13,000 smokes it deserves it so it is in semi-retirement and being smoked once a month rather than the average 4x day 365 days per year, 3-5 from April-November and 8-10 Dec-Mar was the norm. I chose three pipes to work with and the MM Twain I posted came up shining so it became my go to daily wonder and I've kept track of the smokes since I first purchased it, cheers.

I have that Forever swirl stem in an orange. I guess it's an orange creamsicle. Your pipe looks like Mark Twain could have smoked it.

Banjo, I know you like to use wood putty, When filling cracks in your cobs, because that's why I do it now. Have you ever used elmers glue?

Really nice combination of stem with pipe. Is the Forever Stem the Standard at 2.625" or the Standard at 3.25"?

The OAL with tenon included is 3.75", the external length is the 3.25" standard snowhill..

Lol, no, I have a 6 pipe rack that I load with 5 pipes for the day, there is a pipe rest for the pipe I smoked last where it will sit and air out. The MM Twain is always out and never gets put away that's how it was with the MM Diplomat and it always worked well.

Yet another reason I don't think of MM cobs as disposable pipes. You can dispose of them, but they can serve someone for many many years to come.
