While Vacationing in Asheville

Stopping in Bruce’s Pipe Shop and spoke with the manager. Coming from Charlotte McCranie’s has me spoiled but I always seek out a new B&M. Spoke to the manager ( sorry can’t remember his name) but he was very knowledgeable on the hobby and left with a house blend. Always nice to find a shop you can smoke on and support the brick and mortar.

I was not a pipe smoker when I spent a week in Sapphire, NC, but it was a wonderful place to vacation for a week.
We dodged into Asheville for a day and it was a blast. I recall an amazing model train museum somewhere in Bryson City.
Also, there is an old school steam train ride through the Nantahala Gorge which you should go out of your way to experience.
