I call it just plain ugly. JMHO.
Remember, ugly is in the eye of the beholder, and since I be holding this pipe for the moment, I think it looks "interesting", that, and it would make a nice blunt force weapon incase someone's ugly dog attacks me.

I guess so! Maybe it's the photo, but the stem looks distorted. You could bend it to be straight....

It is a 'nosewarmer' pot, imho. The stem's slight curve helps some to clench, might have been a modification, easily straightened, if so desired.
