Listening to a little Stan Getz. Here is Stan, Gary Burton on vibes, Steve Swallow on bass and Roy Haynes on drums, performing live in London, 1966, Bob Brookmeyer's "Jive Hoot." This clip has an absolutely incredible drum solo by Haynes, one of the greats, who has worked with all the icons, from Bird, Miles, Monk and Coltrane, to Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, The Allman Brothers, and, three years ago, at the age of 91, played with Jon Batiste's band on "The Late Show with Steven Colbert"

^^^^ Awesome choice so I'll jump in too.
A few songs with really nice Percy Jones bass lines. Fripp's playing on St. Elmo's fire is my favorite short solo he's ever done.

Just listened to a bluegrass version of Pure Prairie League's Aimee. Liked it even better in bluegrass style.
