The Murders in the Rue Morgue (audiobook) narrated by Ralph Cosham :puffpipe:
One of my favorite narrators.

Listening to my LP of Jon Lord's Concerto For Group And Orchestra, performed by Deep Purple and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Sir Malcom Arnold.

Here's a clip of that live 1969 performance, at Royal Albert Hall, of the First Movement, with a blazing solo by Ritchie Blackmore, one of his best.

^^^ Last night's main course, sitting out on the back porch with a bowl of LNF in a Castello "55".
Good one, Philo.

I too am digging back deep into Tool in anticipation of the new album. I haven't listen to Fear Inocumlum yet because my buddy is throwing a Listening party when in comes out and I want to listen to the album from start to finish fresh. Since me and bunch of my friends have been in various bands though out the years we are planning on basically combining all of our PA systems out in woods and partying down while we play it. Should be a great time.

Awesome man, sounds fun! We did something very similar in 2006 for their 10,000 Days release. We are still gonna have a little get together listening party on the 30th. Good to see we’ve got a few other Tool fans here!

For perdurabo, hawky and acidpox, here's an incredible arrangement of "Schism" (one of my favorite Tool tunes). If you haven't heard this before, trust me, it'll blow you away, 'cause I know the pieces fit.
