What Happened? Why the Site was Down...

We were offline for three hours because of a water main break that leaked into the data center.

Hundreds of sites were affected.

Our servers are fine, but there were routers that that had to be replaced.

Okay, to be more analytical, I did think it might be the site, but tried various maneuvers to see if I could shake it out, like restarting my desk top. You always hope it will "fix itself," or someone else will, but I never know.

When one site won't load and every other does, pretty simple conclusion where the problem lies. I have my own little software company, I'm painfully aware of all the things that can go wrong and cause temporary outages.
