I like all of them so far with Escudo taking the top spot.

Newminster's Superior Flake floats my boat in the aroma dept.

I like all natural tobacco aromas but this flake has a topping that is nicely complimentary.

I know, disqualified. It comes in boxes and bags.

Yeah, honey smells delicious on that newminster 400.

McB plumcake, kuxury twist cake I agree with. Its only a few of the Lat heavy blends that I dont like the tin note of if its too early in the day...evening time makes it smell good though, something about the combination of a full stomach and mental space at the end of the day I think.
I would take the B flat over the A sharp anyday.

Like 'em all but nothing beats McClelland's No. 2015 Virginia Perique Flake. That raisiny, sweet smell.

The other day I got my nose stuck in a tin of GLP Fillmore and seriously couldn't get it out... sensuously deep and delicious mature Virginias with a supreme scoop of perique... I must have sniffed it a full half hour before I even filled my pipe! And, thanks be, you can't get cancer from inhaling aromas, well, except in the state of CA maybe. Oh... and C&D King Cake!!! What a glorious sniffle-snorf that is!!! :puffy:

Hot Garbage.

--from an old post where a member's wife described the smell of burning 1792.

Also, another vote for Mclelland VAs.

Like northernneil, Cosmic, and too many others to name, any Virginia from McClelland. It's amazing. A close second is Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong flake, the tin note alone put it toward to top of my rotation of tobaccos, and smoking it is fantastic, too.

McClelland's Drama Reserve, Samovar, any of their Virginias, particularly No. 24, and Sutliff's 1849
