So, Savinelli has introduced a new shape, eh? Good for them. Just remember, I was smoking cherrywoods before cherrywoods were cool. This time, it's with a bit of PA to keep it real.

A mix of two C&D Burleys, Cavendish Cut Burley and Dark Burley in an estate bought straight apple no name meerschaum.

I got this pipe and two other eminently smokable 'classic' shaped meers (not elaborately carved) and a rack with humidor on ebay for about $20.00 total.

I like to find good buys, and recycle.

I also mope around the Goodwill store downtown about once or twice a year just to see if I can spot a treasure, and that could be anything from a book to a spoon, or anything my imagination accepts as utilitarian or otherwise desirable.

Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a Barling ExEL T.V.F. blasted brandy shaped stummel with a cannibalized MM Pride stem. I got the stummel in an estate buy which avged. $3.75 including shipping for each of 4 pipes.

Until I get a 'proper' stem, this will be my redneck Barling.

Slowly smoking a Jake Hackert pot with brown no.4 blended into some C&D burley flake #3.
