This morning I delivered the pipes and tobacco that was donated for the Vietnam Veteran. When I pulled out the box he looked at it and didn't say anything. Bit when I told him it was all his he was overwelmed. he kept saying he couldn't believe it. He reach out and took up a pipe and found a tabac and packed a bowl. We stood the smoked a bowl together. He did comment it was an unexpected Christmas present.
I delivered the following to him:

3 briar pipes

1 corn cob

Several pouches of various tabaccos

Several cans of tobacco

1 9 pipe rack

2 Czech tools

Pipe cleaners and soft flame lighters
From me again thank you for making his day and lifting his spirit.
I also gave home the addresses I had he said he will be sending a thank you note.
John

Great job. May the pipes, leaf, and accessories be a solace to this vet.

I am glad you did this. Most veterans have done so much for their country only for their government to let them down big time.

One more of the countless examples of people in this community helping each other out.
This is a very generous group.
Congratulations to all those who pitched in!
