Hopefully, Fred won't have to write about hurricanes for awhile. (Go away Hurricane Maria.) It's been a trying couple of weeks trying to work remotely 625 miles away as the power goes out in Asheville (where we evacuated too), and is never lost in St. Pete (where we evacuated from). Lots of people DID lose power in St. Pete - just not our neighborhood. Along those lines, check out Fred Brown's latest column for PipesMagazine.

'Hope things are looking better back home for you, Kevin. Florida will struggle with recovery and losses on the tourist season to come, as will Texas with its work and retail.

St. Pete-my old hometown town. I lived in Gulfport for many years.
