Next you're going to tell me that's the same pipe...suuuure it is. No one can do magic like that.

Those multiple personalities are finally confusing you, huh?
Thanks for the compliment, but I'm serious.
Not me, not Anthony Cook.
It's a newcomer. Someone already in the pipe game, but I had no idea until now that he did restorations. World class restorations.

Mr. Cook is very talented. I appreciate you giving him some props.

That is NOT Mr. Cook's work.
A pipe like this, it alway comes down to the re-finishing/re-staining, and from the pictures, in my mind the jury is still out.

What I see from the first image could be fixed with a Jewelers cloth, micromesh, and a wet paper towel. What am I missing?

I see that he cleaned it, but was there any repair work involved?
Squishy word, repair... is topping cosmetic or repair? (Which he did spectacularly well---making it "invisible" is extremely difficult for several reasons.)

That is NOT Mr. Cook's work.
I think Warren meant my saying it WASN'T Anthony was a compliment, because that would have been everyone's first guess otherwise.

Having seen enough of Anthony's work, I would not have come to that conclusion.

I'll just get right down to it. The pipe looks like, from the pictures, that it has been re-stained, and most of the underlying contrast seen in the original finish has been washed out.
