@bluto Jobon? Honest? Baofa?
I have a Jobon. It's a little problematic when it comes to inserting the gas, but it's doing the job and it's half the price of the Zippo.
I will still buy the Zippo though.

These do a very good job. Disposable.

The Linse is a decent and very cheap option with a very small fuel capacity. A step up is the Cool lighter which is also very cheap, but refillable and has a simple built-in tamper. At the high end, the Kiribi and the IM Corona Old Boy are equally good and very reliable. Peterson is right there with them, but I don't in one myself.

Jetline makes a nice soft flame pipe lighter that's refillable.

@chasingembers This position worked but the stone still gets hot and I can barely move the lighter with freedom.
I need caution to deal with it, I think that even matches are better.
Thanks for the helpful image.

A good majority of pipe smokers would agree with that.
I'm not hating matches anymore now, since the day I bought long matches without sulfur.
The short thin ones are hard to keep lit, but those big ones are good.

I have a couple of nice pipe lighters, a few Zippo's but I always go back to my BIC. I did just order a Z-Pipe insert to give it a try. I like Zippo's, but don't like that it imparts a taste on the tobacco for the first few puffs. I'm hoping this new insert will make it so I can enjoy my Zippo's again.
