Some of the posts in response are pretty funny, or deservedly ornery. Some or most of this isn't even posted by people directly but some busy 'bot. Technology devouring its offspring.

I'm still grappling with how to use the new moderation tools, but we do get notified on every log in for spam reports. That particular bum was relentless,but eventually was banned. We probably stop on average, 2-3 spammers per day, at signup (system recognizes potential spammers based on their email, ISP, name, etc.) But, some slip through. The best tactic is don't reply, but report the post. Appreciate the help and feedback!

I'm the world's worst to do it but, I'll agree on the no reply. I've noticed that if I reply to one post, another identical post pops up right below it.

I guess they're like robocalls. You get less of them if you just ignore them.
