Hello All

Happy Holidays to the lot of you!!
I finally tried Plum Pudding and Plum Pudding SR. They are both fantastic. Full bodied, smokey, creamy, sweet and sour. Very, very good. I got a definite salty taste in the PP reg flavor, which I really liked.

So that leads me to my question. Anyone know of any dry, smokey..salty--ish english style blends?. I am thinking along the lines of Saseni, but without the perfume, incense notes . I guess maybe a less rich, less sweet english? Does a Lat/Bur mix maybe move along those lines?

Would appreciate any and all input.
Thank You

I find Billy Budd leans to the savory side. It's a creamy smoke that isn't sweet.

I'll second the motion on C&D's Billy Budd, available in bulk, as is their Old Joe Krantz. If you are into extra full strength, C&D's Burley #1 might interest you, but read the specs carefully. There are some gentler English blends that are also delicious. Browse the specs online.

@mso489 I’m currently smoking my first bowl of OJK and am already a fan. I find it to be a fairly stout, subltly flavored smoke. Very satisfying.
