Here are a couple of Jeantet I picked up from Denmark, will post more pics once the pipes arrive.

I didn't care for it, plus it was part of an estate lot that I targeted because of a Peterson 03 in it. The Jeantet was lacquered and the stem was colored like a bumblebee. Not my style.

I have a number of Jeantets, all fine puffers. One is the same shape as that Reputation - very graceful and elegant.

I confess I've never heard of Jeantet before. Are these Danish or French? Are they sold in the U.S.? The

online retailers I've visited don't seem to carry them, or I didn't notice any. Are they still made?

Here is some info on Jeantet Jeantet on Pipedia, I like estates and usually buy them from one of my friends in Denmark. You can visit his website Estate Briar Pipes Denmark . Jeantet is a french brand and currently made by Comoy which also makes Chacom.
My personal view, don't buy the new ones, get the old estates they are really good pipes.

This is a Jeantet preference. It was my first Jeantet. It enjoys smoking English blends and some burleys

This is a Jeantet Versailles. It smokes flakes amazingly well. It has a catch chamber similar to the Peterson system pipes. This was my second Jeantet and probably my favorite.

Here is a pipe simply marked Jeantet. Very deep sandblast on the left side. It feels great in the hand. I picked this one up as an estate. I do not know the age or how to determine. It is still finding it's way in the world, it hasn't decided what style it likes to smoke.
