Could not tell you a thing about it other than it was an estate pipe purchased from a pipe shop in Paris

I didn't care for it, plus it was part of an estate lot that I targeted because of a Peterson 03 in it. The Jeantet was lacquered and the stem was colored like a bumblebee. Not my style.

wow stunning pipes gentlemen, I am happy I made the right choice by getting these. Smoking rsuninv's Smokey Bastard in the Bent Jeantet.
@NumberSix thanks buddy

@Ghost Love both of htem would look something similar for myself as well.

@cmdr It happens, we love some we sell some

@Lestrout Thanks a lot, you are pretty famous here for your Jeantets.

I confess I've never heard of Jeantet before. Are these Danish or French? Are they sold in the U.S.? The

online retailers I've visited don't seem to carry them, or I didn't notice any. Are they still made?

This is a Jeantet preference. It was my first Jeantet. It enjoys smoking English blends and some burleys

This is a Jeantet Versailles. It smokes flakes amazingly well. It has a catch chamber similar to the Peterson system pipes. This was my second Jeantet and probably my favorite.

Here is a pipe simply marked Jeantet. Very deep sandblast on the left side. It feels great in the hand. I picked this one up as an estate. I do not know the age or how to determine. It is still finding it's way in the world, it hasn't decided what style it likes to smoke.
