Yep. Hopefully there will be another one at some point.

I liked them both and after smoking that new one I got today, I wanted another one!
The one you got today is very similar to the poker I have (scroll up a few posts in this thread and you’ll see it) except yours is weathered stone instead of black coal and has a smooth rim. Same shape almost exactly though, and I can tell you it’s a great pipe and a great jaw hanger. Clenches effortlessly.

I’m looking forward to it. That poker I got today may have started an addiction.

Haha its possible. This new fishing vest pipe is my 3rd boswell. He makes great pipes. How about that crazy ass foot long lumberman he had today? Haha. Like 11 inches of that stem is briar! Too rich for my blood though ?
Not the worst price I've seen.

A friend and I were smoking pipes and enjoying homebrew this past Monday evening and got to talking about pipes, of course. We are both quite new to the hobby, but I had read about J.M. Boswell and how highly his pipes are regarded. I had looked at the Boswell Pipes site the previous Monday and really like a poker that was listed for sale, but decided that there was no way I could justify the cost right now as a newbie. I resolved to add a Boswell pipe to the wish list as it seemed proper to have one of his pipes some day. Fast forward a week, add too much beer and the topic of conversation... I mentioned Boswell to my buddy and I decided to pop open the web site to show him the new pipes for the week. While scrolling through the page I saw this Boswell Pipe FLUTED SCOOP 2019 and was entranced. What is it about wood grain and curvy things that causes so much excitement?!

This was definitely a splurge and I actually got the okay from my wonderful wife before quickly placing the order. The evening of drinking and talking went on and I went to bed. I immediately woke up the next morning wondering what I had done the night before. I knew that this was the end of buying pipes and tobacco for 2019, but decided that that's okay since I ended up with a really cool Boswell pipe. The pipe just arrived today and it's awesome! The wood grain, color, shape, feel, bit design - everything - are all impressive. The packaging was also nice and the starter accessories are a nice little touch. I really like the other three pipes in my collection, but this one stands out a bit more. The first smoke was going to be with the tobacco they sent with the pipe, but it's the Boswell's Cherry Smash and I was planning this to be VaPer pipe. Maybe it will get christened with some Russ Ouellette Firestorm instead!

The page for this particular pipe appears to be gone from the Boswell web site now, so here are the description details from it for anybody interested:
Not sure why the pictures break on this forum so much. At any rate, below is the missing picture - and a few more - of my Boswell Fluted Scoop 2019. Enjoy!

My first pipe. I got it in 2002 after the LOTR movies came out. It’s been in a box for a few years. I tried a pipe but preferred cigs, so it was consigned to “other smokables”. I just cleaned it up, reamed it out, & deoxidized the stem. Put some C&D Burley #1 through it & it preformed admirably.
It used to have a green tint or dye on the bowl, but that’s long gone. I like the way it looks au natural better actually!
Does anyone know what the “C” after U.S.A. Stands for?

I love my J.M. Boswell pipes and really enjoy seeing so many others on this forum!

These aren't great pictures, but here are the two I've purchased up in Chambersburg.

The first is a classic bent billiard I bought last month. It smokes like a dream and I've dedicated it to Boswell English blends (Northwoods, Countryside, Mild English, and a few I picked up at yesterday's "Boswell Hooligans" meetup).

The second it a stout little poker that somehow hadn't already been snapped up when I got to the store at noon. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was for me.

I'm going to contain myself for a bit--my wife saw the credit card statement come through and, though the pipes are really reasonable (highly recommend buying them in person, if you can, both for the selection and the price), I also loaded up on house blends and some tins I'd always wanted to try!
