The two new Shells are really nice -- the bevelled rims can be very handy when it comes to loading the bowl.

I just started smoking pipes a few months ago and a friend gave me some pipes he was no longer using...I have no clue what they are or how to refurb them. the white one is a clay pipe.

Most of these were shown in a previous photo with a Dunhill rack and tamper. In this photo there is a shell with original horn stem, Albert Dunhills personal pipe, Alfred's grandson, an original innertube. I also have a second Dunhill pipe rack, sorry no photos at the moment, the last pipe is very special and historic and I am awaiting its arrival.
1922 was a significant year for Dunhill, they began turning and finishing their own stummels rather than purchasing them pre turned, it was also the year the Bruyere finish was debuted. This is a 1922 Dunhill Bruyere Churchwarden with custom fitted Morrocan leather case ordered through the Dunhill Duke Street Store, it sports a Dunhill hallmarked 1922 engine turned 14k band. I think this will complete my Dunhill procurement days since this is a fine group.

I've been on the hunt for a Dunhill for quite some time and have never found one that was in right price range or one that spoke to me. Was out antique shopping on this Canadian Thanksgiving Day Weekend and happened upon this little beauty. The white dot caught my eye first, but I love the size of this pipe and the fact that its a rusticated finish. It looks to be in great shape and I am most thankful for this find.

Well, as long as this thread has been revived, I know ya'll are dying to see this again, so I decided to add it in just to confuse those that are not familiar with this rarity.

Behold, the elusive patent era Dunhill Cob, also known as the DunCob.

I am bad with pictures. Here is my first Dunhill: a 1976 Shell Grp 2 (I didn't know how small a group 2 was... lol)

And here is my greatest Dunhill: a 1952 Shell bamboo warden (sort of knocked out 3 birds with one stone on this baby. lol)
