What was the issue? (sorry, I'm out of the loop). I've been wanting to try some FVF but couldn't get it anywhere. I'm signed up for email alerts from several online retailers.

Thanks for the heads up. I went straight to the site, saw several items in stock and got an order together within a minute or two. When I went to check out, it was gone. Hilarious.

Thank you! I was quick enough this time to get a tin of 1792, which will be my first experience with this tobacco. Softens the blow of missing the Stonehaven last night haha!

Because Gawith only ships a few times per year and the product sells out rather quickly once it does ship. Nothing magical, no conspiracy. Be ready with your credit card in hand when it does become available as it won't be for long.

I was at The Briary a couple weeks ago and they have a good bit in stock including FVF.

$60 for 8.5 oz..... I bought my FVF at $29/lb, course that was 2007 - 2010. Funny, I remember a self proclaimed expert from another forum (back in 2008) that said tobacco would become more widely available and at lower costs once the subsidies ended. Glad I didn’t listen to his advice.
