Where are my fellow stackers?
Took in a nice "Bars for Coins" trade recently.

This deal was worked out back when silver dipped under $19/oz
Canadian Rounds on the right including Maples and the RCM Wildlife series.

Australia (Perth Mint) Koala's on the left.

Yes, they'll tarnish, but since it's pure silver, not as easily. .999 requires more sulfides in the air, so don't smoke around them.
I also have a bunch of these. But, I collect the bullion that used to be issued by different countries. You used to be able to get them from the bank as they'd release them as a part of international trade, but now they just issue notes. We have a coin shop down the road that saves them for me when he gets them in. I melt and use the silver in alloys for my artwork, but I set the really cool ones aside to keep. If I remember I will pull a few out of the safe tomorrow in the shop and post a few pictures.

I've not suffered with a bout of SAD in a while but I have a small collection. Mostly Pre-1964 U.S. Silver.

Nice Peace Dollar collection Mike!
I don't have many numismatics in my collection aside from a few Morgans.

Humboldt Tn.
Hit up a Estate sale and found, 1 SS necklace 5.2 gr and a very small, very impressive, US, 1840 half-dime in a bag of World coins.

Thought I had found a clay trade pipe, turned out to be a metal repro, W/O the reed stem. So no real value.
Got all for a dollar, I know silver is way down ($18.59 oz.) but, now is when to buy.
All it takes is one coin to make it worth while, and the 1840 is $75.00 in VG.

Indeed ... just picked up some 10oz Johnson Matthey bars at $1.29 over spot! :D
Do you recall how much premium the machine was over spot price?
After converting AED to USD that 1oz Kangaroo is about $1860 .. $630 over current spot.

Currently, the same coin is going for about $1300 online at APMEX.

Depends how long ago the pic was taken though.
