Since I cannot get this forum to send me notifications of new posts in thread I'm following, I've decided to try the RSS feed. According to the "favorites" menu, I should be able to select threads I want to follow in this manner, but I end up getting EVERYTHING in my RSS feed. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want my feed filling up with everything - just the threads I've selected as "favorites."

Some information here:
bbpress.org/forums/topic/using-rss-feeds/
Not sure how to do this manually, but wonder what the "RSS feed for this topic" at the bottom right of each post does...

OK, here's what I found:
http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/profile/glpease/favorites
Should be an RSS subscribe link there, like so:

I subscribe to the RSS feeds for the Buy/Sell/Trade sections, using my Outlook. That works fine. I've never tried to subscribe to a specfic thread, but the RSS link is shown.

I'll let Kevin know your notifcations aren't working. We definitely want Lord Latakia connected!

Greg, what are you using as a feed reader? Are you subscribing to the feed from the link on the bottom right of the last reply - RSS feed for this topic?

I'm using my mail client as a feed reader. I grabbed the feed link from my favorites page (http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/profile/glpease/favorites).
The link points to:

http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/rss/profile/glpease,

which established the feed:

feed://pipesmagazine.com/forums/rss/profile/glpease.
The individual topic feeds work fine, so I can certainly setup feed for each thread, but it would be nice to have the favorites feed work.
