One of my favorite actors, very sad. After seeing him in "The Producers" I heard the comment that he was the master of controlled hysteria. RIP Gene... :crying:

Damn... truly one of my favorite performers of all time. May he rest in peace.

This has been a rough year for losing talent.

RIP. My favorites of his besides Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and Willy Wonka were when he starred with Richard Pryor.

He left us a huge body of work, and for sure will both be remembered and missed.
Man, what knockers must he be admiring at the pearly gates right now.

He was the author to a great many laughs in m life. I can remember being about 12 or 13 when I sat down with my Dad to watch Blazing Saddles. I never thought my dad very funny until that day. After that we made a habit of watching all this Mel Brooks films together. What a classic act he was. He will be missed.
