I either missed this or it just came in--- if you are a sci-fi fan, you may know the name Lawrence Montaigne; he has just passed away yesterday at 86. He was involved in a large number of TV shows and motion pictures but is always best remembered for his roles on Star Trek.
He played the #2 Romulan Lieutenant Deceius (sp) behind Mark Lenard in the Star Trek episode 'Balance of Terror.'
In season 2 with contract problems with Nimoy, they were going to bring him in as a replacement for Mr. Spock, but Nimoy finally signed on.
Later that season, he played the Vulcan Ston, Mr. Spock's rival for the girl in 'Amok Time.'
