Hi,
I've been using that standard Czeck 3 in 1 pipe tool for years now. I'd like to upgrade to something nicer. Preferably around $20 to $30. Any recommendations?
Thanks

While the 3 in 1 is a handy all purpose tobacco tool, pipe tamper, cigar pick, and snuff spoon, I don't believe I've ever seen an upper grade multi tool until you get into pipe knives such as Sheffield and Laguiole. Brigham makes these for $10-$15.

I have this one for about 15 years and I'm totally satisfied with it: https://www.rhodonscollectables.co.uk/ourshop/prod_4963468-Denicotea-Pipe-Smoking-3-in-1-MultiTool.html

A Solingen-made czech tool.

Tiffany & Co. used to make 3 in 1 Czech type tools in Sterling Silver and 14k Gold, both of which can be found on eBay, but they are mighty salty!

That's a beauty Embers posted! I have a similar one but in a less inspiring stainless steel. A pipe nail is all I ever need, but I like a Czech tool or one of these nicer folding tools, which are also good for a little extra length for deep pipes where a pipe nail won't reach.

ashdigger that's a hell of a tool. Although for that price ... you can buy yourself a small cellar. :puffy:
