Help....I am trying to identify the style/type of this pipe. I don't see anything like it in my Google search. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pipe is handmade in Italy.

Those are great for moisture drainage.
I'm curious about the amount of moisture. Does the moisture start dripping out when you remove the cap? Or is the moisture just enough where you need to soak it up with a pipe cleaner? Or does it depend on the tobacco...

Mostly depends on how you smoke. I had one and the cap was handy for draft hole access with a pipe cleaner. The cap had a film on it that was probably more tar than moisture.
