Hello. As I detailed in another thread, I recently purchased a pipe lot and I am sorting and identifying the pipes. One of the pipes that I do not recognize is marked, "Rum Cured" on the side of the shank. On the bottom it is marked "Wally Frank" over "London" on the bottom. It has no other marking on the stummel. On the stem it has what appears to be a stylized PC or CP. I know that a number of companies made pipes for Wally Frank. Does anyone have insight who might have made this one? Thank you.

What you have is a very early Wally Frank pipe. The "WALLY FRANK" over "LONDON" indicates that it was sold sometime between 1933 and 1936. I'd bet dollars to donuts that the pipe was made by Comoy's. I sort of collect Wally Frank pipes from that era and practically every one is Comoy-made.
I'm not familiar with that stem stamping (I see a fish and a hook), but I'm lacking in literature from that time period. No matter because it would have been something that was specific to the Wally Frank brand and not in any way an indicator of the original maker.
Nice find!

I hope to post a picture of the pipe on this thread tomorrow. The logo is pretty worn and I am hoping to clean the stem without losing it.

It's an "R" with a "C" through it. The right "leg" of the "R" is faded on your stem.
It appears in this Esquire ad from 1937 (if you download the free PDF version of it, it's high enough resolution to see the RC clearly).

Amazing find Greeneyes. The billiard pipe pictured in the ad is the same as the one I have here.

Thank you Patiobum. The Pipedia link takes you to pipephil where I have already looked without success.
I went ahead and took some photos of the whole pipe so you can check it against the ad that Greeneyes posted.
