Oh I've been there, enjoying a pipe on an empty stomach is not wise.

One of the effects of nicotine is to do away with hunger. In days past, pipes were smoked by people with empty pantries to soothe the misery.

I know nicotine is considered to be an appetite suppressant, but I am the exact opposite. After a pipe or cigar, ai go straight to the kitchen looking for something to eat and I rarely ever want to smoke after a meal.

I always enjoy a bowl of 1792 Flake first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and I don’t get hungry until about 2pm. Works like a charm and I save money by only eating twice a day, it’s a win win.

I've substituted a bowl for dessert plenty of times. Who says smoking a pipe isn't beneficial to you health? LOL
