Just switched from Firefox to Google Chrome browser, it is faster. However, getting image info from a web picture seems a bit trickier (and I use that function a lot). With Chrome, you have to add an extension, trying that now.

Al- You don't have to manipulate the URL if you just: select the full sized image, then Control-click (Mac) or Right-click (Windows) on the image itself, then choose copy image location. Now paste that URL (the full web address, which should end in .jpg) into the IMG box in the reply window of the thread you're posting to.
I usually use Safari, but just did the below via Chrome.

Right-click (Windows) on the image itself, then choose copy image location.
With Win10 and Chrome, that is option is missing (to view the image location). There's a lot of web solutions, but they all involve adding the extension.
With more testing, some pictures offer the Copy image address, some don't.
