Which of these, for those that have tried both, is the most buttery, incense in character? Other comparable Peretti blends that you like or prefer?

I will be in Boston for 3 days and will be making a stop at Peretti's. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Of the two, I would say Tashkent has more of the incense taste and smell and is heavier, while Oriental 40 is more musty and floral, but a lighter smoke. Both are excellent. I would also add that their Royal is not to be missed. Royal is a smoke in the same vein as White Knight and the original Balkan Sobranie White.

Lochinvar has hit the nail on the head.

All three are fine, but I would start with Tashkent.
