I know how I have done this for years but I was wondering how others do it. When you have a pint or Quart mason jar of tobacco and want to spread it out for more smokes, what do you do with it? Do you parse it to smaller Mason jars? Do you put it in mylar bags? What do you do with it?

I use quart jars for storing bulk tobacco and use either 4 or 8 ounce jars for day-to-day, refilling them from the quart jars as needed. I find 4 ounce jars a bit too small, but I have them so I use them.

I start with smaller jars from the get go. That way I'm not interrupting the aging process to open up and parse the larger jar. :puffy:
