My wife buys a lot of my pipes for me as presents and my daughter goes with me to pipe shops, so they know how much they cost. If I die suddenly I have asked them to keep what they want, and sell the rest to a pipe shop. Then, take the money and buy something that makes them smile. If my pipes are sold to someone who pays for them, they will probably be taken care of. If I have advance warning of my death, I may dispose of my pipes myself.
