Does anyone know the precise dimension of a Erik Nording Handmade Smoking Pipe Signature Smooth tenon so I can replace a bad stem? Length of stem not an issue. Just need one that fits this pipe .
Thanks in advance,

CDM Jr.

Replacement stems for briar pipes don't work that way, I'm afraid.
They must be fitted to each stummel individually, "tailor style".

The good news is, many pipe repair people can replace a stem, to match or to your specs, at relatively low cost, priced to match the difficulty, but in this case pretty easy and not too much. The last one I had replaced was about $25 plus shipping, a nice job replacing a continually oxidizing P-Lip stem on a nice piece of briar that is a Thompson Cigar house pipe stamped "West Germany." Looks and smokes great.

I recently had a nasty tasting vulcanite Nording freehand stem replaced with a beautiful Lucite one by Boswell's of Chambersburg PA. They did an awesome job! Replacement stem, buffed pipe and shipping was about $35 total.
